GMBSignals (operated by StreamlineSMB) provides Google Business Profile management and Google Maps rank-tracking services for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
When you work with us or use our client portal, we collect and store:
- Business information — your business name, address, phone number, business category, and other public listing details.
- Listing data — data about your Google Business Profile and Google Maps listing, including ranking positions from geo-grid scans, photos, posts, and profile completeness signals.
- Reviews data — ratings, review counts, and review content from your public Google Business Profile.
- Contact email — the email address you provide for account access and communication.
2. Google API Services and OAuth
If you connect your Google account to GMBSignals (an optional feature), we use the Google Business Profile APIs to read and manage your own business listing data on your behalf. Our use, receipt, and disclosure of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving the GMBSignals service for your account, and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
3. How we use information
- Deliver, maintain, and improve the GMBSignals service
- Track your Maps rankings and generate reports and Gap Reports
- Prepare posts, review replies, and profile updates in your brand voice
- Communicate with you about your account and service
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to operate the service (e.g., hosting) or as required by law.
4. Data storage & security
Data is stored on our servers in the United States with access restricted to authorized staff. We use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of storage is 100% secure.
5. Data retention
We keep your business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, request deletion by emailing us and we will remove your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
7. Third-party services
GMBSignals analyzes publicly available Google Maps/Search results. Your use of Google services is additionally governed by Google's own privacy policies.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
